It is with great regret that we have to inform you today that the physical Frankfurt Book Fair will not take place this year. The current travel restrictions due to Covid-19 do not make it possible to guarantee a sufficient presence of specialist visitors and in accordance with the Implementation of exhibition operations in the halls as planned. Nevertheless, we have worked intensively on the digital mapping of the international marketplace for content and publishing. We look forward to seeing you.

The programme aims at international booksellers, who offer foreign-language titles in their bookshops and would like to gain insight into the workings of the German book market and German publishing. Some international booksellers will be selected by Frankfurter Buchmesse to take part in an exclusive training, exchange and networking programme. The programme will be organised by Frankfurter Buchmesse with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office.
