"Create Your Revolution" at the FRANKFURTER BUCHMESSE 2019
THIS YEAR'S CAMPAIGN FOCUSES ON CULTURE

This year's Frankfurter Buchmesse (October 16-20, 2019) places culture at the centre of global social discourse. Together with the United Nations (UN) and the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, the Frankfurter Buchmesse launches the campaign "Create Your Revolution - Initiative For The Future Of Culture" to acknowledge the strength of culture as an engine for innovation and growth and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The idea behind the "Create Your Revolution" campaign is to perceive, preserve and strengthen culture as a contribution to solving our global challenges and to revolutionise its role in international debates. At the center of this year's discussion and campaign is the demand: Without culture there is no future! The campaign focuses on the following topics: activism, language, life with machines, trust, future, identity, sustainability and education.

As part of the campaign, the interactive festival THE ARTS + / B3, which takes place during the Frankfurter Buchmesse, invites creative pioneers from the cultural and creative industries to submit their ideas and contribute to the program and the exhibition. Anyone from the cultural and creative industries working on vocal, courageous and revolutionary ideas in these areas is invited to submit proposals for integration into the program and exhibition of THE ARTS + / B3. Ideas can now be submitted by July 31, 2019. All further information, including all details on participation: THE ARTS+

This year, the Frankfurt Book Fair, together with a number of international partners, will explore the meaning and future of culture and revolutionize it.
