Submission deadline: 28 August 2020 / MGIP Motovun Group of International Publishers awards prizes for the best illustrated book on the subject of films / Award ceremony as part of the B3 opening on 9 October 2020.

The submissions period for the Frankfurter Buchmesse Film Awards is open: Until 28 August 2020, publishers and production and media companies may submit their proposals for the Film Awards for the categories "Best Literary Adaptation", "Best Adaptation for Children or Young Adults" and "Best Illustrated Book on Film".

The selection process is open to feature films, TV productions and series that are based on literary works or children's and young adult books.

Application process: To participate, please complete the submission form and send it, together with your film material, to film@buchmesse.de. Please also send an e-mail if you would like to nominate a feature film, a series or a TV production whose rights are not necessarily yours.

Frankfurter Buchmesse publishes new white paper on audiobook markets around the globe

Which audio trends are driving the international publishing industry? The new Frankfurt Audio white paper “Audiobooks: Taking the World by Storm” by audio expert Linda Lee provides facts and figures on current developments in the audiobook market around the globe.

German Book Office New Delhi has been working closely with the publishing and creative industries of India and its neighboring countries. The goal is to grow literary and rights exchange, facilitate business and of course to showcase India and South Asia at the publishing and creative industry’s  largest trade event worldwide.

Globalocal Talks: A Podcast Series, features entrepreneurs, authors and leaders making an impact on the publishing industry and the creative sectors internationally. We dive into what it takes to succeed, especially, in tough conditions. We seek out lessons from publishing experts to content creating entrepreneurs.

We are happy to announce that GBO New Delhi has launched Season 2 of Globalocal Talks: A Podcast Series and the new episode is out now. This episode of Globalocal Talks features Gautham Pai, Managing Director, Manipal Technologies Ltd. Gautham shares his journey of the company that started as a small printing press and has now grown into one of the largest end-to-end secure print service provider with offices spread across 4 continents.
