PUBLISHING AND THE PANDEMIC
WILL AUDIOBOOKS CHANGE INDIAN PUBLISHING?

During the pandemic, Audiobooks have gained enormous popularity as physical books are harder to get. Today, apps like Audible and others have also been downloaded in sizeable numbers. Audiobooks are admired as one can typically, while listening to them, engage in physical activities like commuting. The advent of audiobooks means that a larger audience can now enjoy stories irrespective of being able to read the language, allowing them access to books they may have heard of but not had the pleasure to read.
