Frankfurter Buchmesse 2019: 16 – 20 October 2019
Guest of Honour 2019 is NORWAY

Come July and the calendar for the upcoming Frankfurter Buchmesse fills up. With 110 days to go, we would like to introduce you to the Guest of Honour NORWAY, professional and literary events, networking opportunities for the trade and lots of parties to let your hair down while you run into new business partners. Watch this space starting today until Friday to get a refresher on the bonanza that is scheduled from October 16-20, 2019 in Frankfurt!

Every year Frankfurter Buchmesse welcomes a different country as its Guest of Honour. The presence of a country as Guest of Honour gives the Frankfurter Buchmesse a new character every year.
The Guest of Honour of Frankfurter Buchmesse 2019 is Norway –a land of great Literature: from the classics of Henrik Ibsen and Knut Hamsun to the modern best-sellers of Karl Ove Knausgård and Jo Nesbø. Norway’s slogan as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2019 is ‘The Dream We Carry’. The words derive from the poem ‘It Is That Dream’ by the much loved Norwegian poet Olav H. Hauge (1908–94).
